New Tribe Commits to Radical Prayer Project
New Tribe – Memphis, TN: Pastor Nate Guelzow and the members of New Tribe have made a bold commitment to prayer.
Through a project in Memphis called the Mid-Town Prayer Collective, New Tribe members are partnering with a handful of local congregations to connect with God through 35 days of continuous prayer in one location. The location is a dedicated “prayer room” in the Mid-Town area of Memphis. Those involved in the Collective project are taking turns coming to this special, dedicated space and praying for an hour. Sometimes there are several people praying at one time. While during the more quiet overnight hours, there may only be one person praying. But when the project concludes on November 14, the Collective hopes to have sustained 840 hours of continuous prayer.
New Tribe members who have spent time in the prayer room have been truly moved by the experience. Take a moment to visit New Tribe’s Facebook page to see how they describe this powerful time of prayer.
