In mid-March, Christ Lutheran Church and School in Little Rock, Arkansas was presented a $14,000 GROW Grant check for the congregation’s “10:2 Ministry.” Inspired by Luke 10:2, which says, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest,” the engaging new ministry seeks to increase the reach of the gospel through outreach integrated into community festivals and fairs.

Mid-South District President, Rev. Dr. Roger Paavola (far left) is shown presenting the grant funds to (L to R) Logan Brown, Christ Little Rock’s Director of Worship Arts & Music Education; Cara Steely, the school’s K-8 Principal; and Rev. Matt Albright, Sr. Pastor of Christ Little Rock.
We pray for God’s blessings on the congregation’s 10:2 ministry—and look forward to sharing more on how Christ Lutheran is connecting with the Little Rock community through this exciting concept!
