Lutheran School Consulting Services
Lutheran School Consulting Services (LSCS) is an organization dedicated to strengthening and revitalizing Lutheran schools. The mission of LSCS is to provide God’s children with quality education and spiritual growth, growing God’s kingdom .
LSCS uses a specific process to assess, evaluate, and make recommendations based around the unique needs of the ministry requesting assistance. Trained assessors and consultants work hand in hand with ministries throughout the entire process to ensure that their needs are met and their overall ministries are strengthened.

Special Education Grant
Each year the Mid-South District offers special education grants to Mid-South District Lutheran Schools. This funding was established to help congregations address the special needs of children who are experiencing difficulties in learning.
Applications Due May 30
Applications are sent to all district schools and are due by May 30 of each year. For additional information, contact April Jones at the Mid-South District Office at 1-866-373-1343 or email to Michelle.

School Statistics Report – Online
Schools must submit annual reporting to LCMS Rosters and Statistics and LCMS School Ministry every year- November 1, 2026
To submit your statistics, log into the LCMS Information Support Network (LISN) for Schools website at: www.lisn.lcms.org .
IMPORTANT LOGIN REMINDERS:
- If you have trouble accessing the LISN website after clicking the link, type or copy/paste the full URL — https://lisn.lcms.org — in the address bar at the top of your web browser, not in the search field.
- If you do not remember your username or password, or this is your first time logging into the site, follow the on-screen helps.
- Passwords are case sensitive.
- If you are having trouble logging in, try clearing your browser history and refreshing the page.
- This website will not work with Internet Explorer. Please use another browser.
Once you are logged in, select “School Statistics” from the navigation panel. If you have not yet had a chance to update your school profile and list of current teachers, you may do so at this time or any time throughout the year.
ATTENTION: During the 2023–24 school year, LCMS School Ministry began collecting extra information through a separate survey. Those additional statistics are now included in this website without you needing to link to another survey. To see all the information you will need to have at hand while entering your data, click the “Blank Worksheet” button once logged into the site.

The deadline for submitting your 2025–26 School Statistics is Nov. 1, 2025.
