Update 1 – Youth4Adaptation Day
LIME hosted a national Conference organized by Youth4Adaptation Day last October 14th about environment and; leadership. A former student of LIME is the first responsible of that Non Government Organization.
This event boosted the visibility of LIME and we thank the responsible for having chosen LIME. We are sending you some picture of that event. Mr Tsiaterimila Prince is the name of the first responsible of youth4adaptation day. Pictured below.

Here below is a short description of that event.
On October 14, 2025, LIME Private Lutheran University, in partnership with the Global Center on Adaptation and Association FTVA Madagascar, successfully hosted Youth4Adaptation Day – Madagascar 2025 in Fianarantsoa. This event brought together young leaders and activists from across Madagascar to strengthen youth engagement in national climate policies and promote concrete climate adaptation actions.
Participants gained a deeper understanding of Nationally Determined Contributions (#NDCs) and National Adaptation Plans (#NAPs), and began developing practical recommendations to ensure youth voices are represented in national decision-making ahead of #COP30. The day included interactive workshops on climate leadership, networking opportunities, and the design of community-based action plans, demonstrating that Malagasy youth are ready to take responsible, ambitious, and collaborative action on climate challenges.

PAINTING – “I am sending you the photo of the outside walls to be repainted. I mentioned them in my e-mail of last September 9th. I did not yet take pictures of the two ceilings because I am worried about our functioning budget. For a few days now, there were riots, burning of buildings, of large shopping centers, breaking of houses and stealing of materials from stores and so on in some big cities in our country.
These happenings may in fact impact our functioning budget from monthly tuitions. They may surely rise daily living expenses for families. And this fact may impact family budget. This is why the school income from monthly tuitions may decrease. And our new school year 2025/26 will start soon.
I will send you as soon as possible the estimated cost for the repainting of the two outside walls along side with estimated incoming and the out coming functioning budget. The incoming budget is based on the actual number of students and the out coming budget from the actual expenses on this past 2024/25 school year.
May our Lord Jesus Christ from Nazareth the Head of the Church and our Good Shepherd bless the partnership between the LCMS and LIME !
Your brother across the ocean, Joseph
Update 3 – LIME invited to forum for higher learning
The Ministry of Higher Studies and Researches organized a forum for state and private universities on September 11 and 12 are the open yard of the office of the Governor in Fianarantsoa. That forum gave opportunities to them to explain their curricula to new potential students who had successfully finished their high school years. LIME was officially invited to that forum.
It is a great pleasure for us to send you pictures taken during that forum. You are the gift from Jesus Christ from Nazareth the Head of the Church and our Good Shepherd to support us in prayers and in finances.
May He bless you, your ministry, your staff and your family! Your brother across the ocean, Joseph”
