Celebrating 164th Year of Education

First Lutheran School in Fort Smith, Arkansas, is celebrating its 164th year of education. Like most schools, we have seen many educational fads or trends come and go. However, at First Lutheran, it’s still all about Jesus! Each week, we gather together to learn more about Jesus in chapel services. This year our chapel leaders have been using the various names of Jesus found in Scripture to teach our students about our Savior. This is a picture of our students after a chapel service led by the second graders seated in the front row during which they shared the story of Martin Luther and the Reformation.
