News from Christus Victor
God is good and continues to bless us in abundance here at Christus Victor in Knoxville. Over the past couple weeks we had some exciting things happening. We shared in the baptism of Shelia Descomb. The church got to witness its first dunking as Shelia requested to be baptized by immersion. It was way AWESOME. Then we started the year by bringing in five new members. That being Sharon Blair by transfer. And Carol and LeAnn Synstelien by confession of faith as well as Jason Roberts and Shelia Descomb. We shared in celebrating the day by having a pot bless luncheon (no ‘luck’ involved—only blessings!) as everybody got to know the newest members of CVLC.
