On Sunday, August 31, Mid-South District president, Rev. Dr. Roger Paavola, presented a generous GROW Grant check for $12,000 to Rev. Jon Petering and the congregation of Immanuel Lutheran Church for its new Hispanic ministry, Trinity Luterana Ministerio Hispano. The new ministry at Immanuel was formed in partnership with Trinity Lutheran Church in down-town Memphis.
The Mid-South District’s GROW Grant program pro-vides start-up funding for innovative new ministries of existing LCMS congregations in the Mid-South. Learn more here.
