On July 23, 2018, Job Comfort Dog made an appearance before the Shelby County Board of Commissioners to receive a special resolution from the Commission acknowledging and thanking Job and Christ the King Lutheran Church and School for their community outreach and compassionate ministry. County Commission Chair Heidi Shafer presented the resolution and invited handler Genie Swan to speak to the assembly about the many facets of Job’s ministry. Job behaved in his customary gentlemanly manner and made many friends. The handsome resolution is on display in CTK’s narthex.
Good job, Job!
