On Sunday, March 3rd, a ceremony was held at Camp Robinson in North Little Rock, AR., to honor Chaplain Shawn Found for his 26 years of service with the Army National Guard. Throughout his distinguished career, Chaplain Found served in six different states and completed two overseas deployments. Chaplain David Witte (Grace Lutheran, Little Rock) delivered an invocation and benediction. The event attendees included distinguished officials from the Army National Guard who presented national and local awards recognizing Chaplain Found’s service. Chaplain Found’s family, Jenn, Elias, and Asher Found were in attendance as well as Pastor Kent Schaaf from Grace Lutheran, Little Rock.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Chaplain Found for his unwavering commitment to God and our country. His service and sacrifice have inspired us all. He plans to remain in Little Rock serving as a civilian instructor with the Guard as well as becoming more involved in assisting in the ministry at Grace Lutheran, Little Rock. “Well done, good and faithful servant.” – Matthew 25:21
