Mid-South District Mission Team 2024 Tanzania

At the end of May, 14 members of a mission team representing the Mid-South District left for a mission in the Southeast of Lake Victoria Diocese of the Lutheran Church of Tanzania. We have a group of members from Memphis, Little Rock, and Cabot as well as from Missouri.

The team will sharing the gospel to villages in the Kahama and Shinyanga area of Tanzania. They will also attend the ordination of 41 new pastors at Ebenezer Cathedral in Shinyanga. The Mid-South District helps support the training of these men in their 3 year training program at the Makala Training Center in Negezi as did Concordia Theological Seminary Fort Wayne.
