Mid-South District Youth Attend Christ Academy in Fort Wayne

Two students from the Mid-South District attended Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne’s (CTSFW) Christ Academy, which took place June 14-27 on the seminary campus. Anastasia Willadsen from Fort Smith, AR (Bethel Lutheran Church) and Jonathan Roberts from Maryville, TN (Praise Lutheran Church) joined about 90 other high school students from across the country for two weeks of classes, worship and community.

The annual Christ Academy High School gathering consists of three important elements: confessional catechesis, liturgical worship, and Christ-centered community. This tradition of learning, worship, and community provides a high-impact two-week experience for young men and women, especially for those considering a future in church work.
