The partnership of the congregations in the Mid-South District continues to bring professional church workers to the harvest field of the Lord. The Rite of Ordination for Brent Berg was held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Faith Lutheran Church, Tullahoma, Tennessee, the home congregation for Pastor Berg. The Rev. Brent Berg will be placed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Auburn, Nebraska. However, he, along with several other university and seminary students have been supported in his seminary education by the tuition assistance funds from the Mid-South District. The efforts have shown us that our support of these students in professional church work has supplied much needed pastors, teachers, principals, DCE’s, and other church workers for our District and in ministries across the Synod. Pastor Berg will be installed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Auburn, NE on July 17.
