As you smell the beautiful aroma of thousands of freshly cut roses, you will see first-hand the work of the Petal Pushers® on the 2020 Lutheran Hour Ministries float entitled Anchored in Jesus.
This is event provides attendees the opportunity to view the floats close up.
A full meal is included with beverages and desserts. The party is a non-alcoholic event.

Proceeds from the annual Behind the Scenes Party help provide funding to place the only Christian themed float in the 2020 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade.

The 2020 Lutheran Hour Ministries Tournament of Rose Parade Float, titled Anchored in Jesus fits perfectly under the parade theme of The Power of Hope. Just as an anchor secures a mighty vessel, saving faith in Jesus Christ provides security during all seasons of life-not only for this life on earth, but for eternity.
The only Christian float in parade, the LHM float is decorated by as many as 5,000 Petal Pushers® volunteers from across North America. We need you! Please go to https://www.petalpushers.org/reg and sign up to decorate Tournament of Roses Parade floats.

Sign up for the Petal Pusher® Outreach Booth
Again this year, Petal Pusher® Outreach Booth volunteers will distribute materials and share the meaning of Joy to the World, the Lord is Come! – the title of our 2019 Lutheran Hour Ministries Rose Parade float. 
As opportunity presents itself, they will discuss how:
• this hymn proclaims the greatest of life’s melodies
• in the birth of Jesus, prominently portrayed in the center of the float, we meet the Promised One of God
• the coming of Christ marks the great step of fulfillment leading to His sacrificial death and victorious resurrection for our salvation.
It will be possible to do this in areas where:
• decorating is taking place
• floats are staged on the morning of the parade
• floats are viewed by the public after the parade.

Float Decorating
Join the Petal Pushers – 2019. The 2019 Tournament of Roses Parade theme is The Melody of Life and the Lutheran Hour Ministries float is entitled: Joy to the World, the Lord is Come! This hymn proclaims the greatest of life’s melodies, the sweet song of salvation – victory over sin, death, and the evil one – and the eternal reign of Christ.
