This is a check for $5000 being presented to Faith Lutheran Church in Magnolia, AR. Presenting the check is Mr. Chris Weiser to Rev. Jim Jobst, pastor of Faith Lutheran. The members of the congregation are in the picture. The $5000 is from the Ralph Weiser Excellence in Ministry Award, an award of the Mid-South District for exception service to the Kingdom of God and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod by a layperson selected for their service to the Church.
The first recipient was chosen last year at the Fiftieth Anniversary Banquet of the Mid-South District. Mr. Chris Weiser and Mrs. Margo Weiser were presented the award on behalf of Ralph Weiser for his many years of servant service to the LCMS and the Mid-South District.
