Every summer, Concordia Theological Seminary (CTSFW), Fort Wayne, offers two theological conferences for high school students: Christ Academy High School for men, June 17–30, and Phoebe Academy High School for women, June 17–24. “It’s a wonderful experience for your child,” said Phoebe Academy mom, Pamela Buhler. “Not only with their walk, but also in their knowledge of how they can serve the Lord for the rest of their life.”
As a long-time attendee and proctor at Christ Academy High School, first year seminarian, Josef Muench, has an inside view of the experience that ultimately motivated him to begin his pastoral training at CTSFW. “Christ Academy is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for high school students to come and be part of the Seminary community for a full two weeks, get a taste of the worship life, the community of the campus, have a lot of fun and learn deep, important and real theology with people who really care about their needs.”
The week-long Phoebe Academy High School costs $400, while Christ Academy High School costs $600 for two weeks (or $400 for returning participants). The cost is inclusive, covering housing, meals, a Christ Academy shirt and admission to any other events or planned outings. Some financial aid is available based on need, which will be considered by Academy Director Rev. Matthew Wietfeldt. Contact him at ChristAcademy@ctsfw.edu or PhoebeAcademy@ctsfw.edu.
