Mid-South District ministry equips and encourages workers, congregations, schools, and even individual members of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod as they boldly proclaim the Gospel both in their communities and beyond the borders of our District. Currently, this work is built around the following five ministry initiatives:
- Planting New Church & School Ministries
- Recruiting & Retaining Professional Church Workers
- Strengthening Generational Faith
- Providing Pastoral Coverage for Rural Ministries
- Equipping Congregations for Ministry to People in Crisis
These initiatives are explored in greater detail in the Mid-South District’s Blueprint for Ministry. Please take a moment to read through this plan—and find encouragement from the vision it outlines. (Click below to open.)
