Once every three months, an enthusiastic group of volunteers from Christ the King, Memphis, converges on FedExFamilyHouse to provide dinner to feed those staying at the beautiful facility, a home-away-from-home for families of out-to-town patients being cared for at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital. Outreach at VA Residential Unit
The ladies of Christ the King Lutheran Church’s LWML hosted a Christmas party at the Veterans Administration Residential Unit in Memphis. The brought lots of great food along with well-stocked personal hygiene kits, Christmas cheer, and friendly faces. The ladies (and one son) wore their “Live Generously” Thrivent Action Team shirts.
Blessing Bag Program
