Bella Vista Lutheran Church in Bella Vista, Arkansas (Northwest Arkansas) was primarily a retirement church with 
very few children and youth. In recent years God has blessed us with children and youth to the point that we are near completion on a building addition. We’re outgrowing our two classrooms in the old building and filling up seven classrooms in the new building. Keeping our vision on the next addition in the future, which would include
larger classrooms and expanded youth facilities.
We do ministry very intentionally with a family ministry flavor to it. The teen youth program consists of meeting once per month in a family’s house with that family (parents and children) preparing and leading the Bible study component of the event. The host family also prepares all activities and meals.
The goal is for each youth to see their parents actively engage the youth group in Bible Study. At least for one day family ministry is happening in the home with their involvement. The desire is for this to help set the stage for more family ministry happening in the home.
