Hugabear Group Receives Thank You

Peace Lutheran Church, Cherokee Village AR was blessed with a special visit recently by an out of town mother and daughter, who came to personally share their gratitude for the daughter receiving a “hugabear” from our ladies’ Hugabear group when she was in the emergency room with a bad cut. She found the bear so comforting and encouraging when facing the trauma, being reminded that Jesus and His people care. The Hugabear group (pictured) prepares hundreds of unique home-made stuffed, sewn bears each year and distributes them to local hospitals, ambulances, and firemen, and they are given to both children and adults.
