All those working in Hispanic ministry — or interested in learning more about it — are invited to attend the Sixth National Hispanic Lutheran Convention, which will be held July 24–27 in Houston.
This year’s theme is Discipulado 4K: Caminando Juntos con Cristo (“4K Discipleship: Walking Together with Christ”), based on 2 Tim. 2:2. According to the Rev. Adolfo Borges, the convention’s president, the gathering will give those in attendance “time to rejoice together and be strengthened to continue our service for Him.”
The registration fee is $150 for an individual or $300 for a family. Registration includes dinner on Tuesday, lunch on Wednesday, and lunch and dinner on Thursday.
The Houston Marriott Westchase is offering attendees a special hotel rate of $99 plus tax per night if booked by July 10. Breakfast is included in this rate.
