Love of Christ and the FedExFamilyHouse

Once every three months, an enthusiastic group of volunteers from Christ the King, Memphis, converges on FedExFamilyHouse to provide dinner to feed those staying at the beautiful facility, a home-away-from-home for families of out-to-town patients being cared for at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital. These volunteers, both adults and youth, bring a hot meal, Portals of Prayer, and often a member-pianist who entertains the children and adults with her beautiful playing. Congregational donations help to pay for the food and the return on the investment is a thousandfold as they spread the love of Christ with each helping of spaghetti.
