Special update from Rev. Bart Day, Executive Director, The Office of National Mission.
We are still offering grants for ethnic pastors to attend the Multi-Ethnic Symposium help in St. Louis, January 23-25, 2017 and the NAME (North American Mission Endeavors) meeting the day before, but with the financial support of NAME, we have added another 12 grants for a total of 24 grants available.
The Office of National Mission and NAME are offering 24 grants, $300 each, to help off-set costs associated with travel and lodging. In order to receive the grant I need to have confirmation that the individual is registered for both the NAME meeting and the Multi-Ethnic Symposium. Again, these funds are intended for men who are ethnic pastors, serving in ethnic ministry, who would greatly benefit from these two events.
My prayer is that you will consider ethnic pastors who otherwise would not be able to attend these events. I understand that other dollars and support will be needed to off-set additional costs. I am hopeful that this grant will be enough to help make this happen for some who otherwise would not attend.
My assistant, Annette Woehlke, will handle the details of processing the grants. Please email Annette.
Looking forward to seeing you this January.
