WINNING THROUGH CHRIST

“We Win!” Based on 1 Corinthians 15:57 — “But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” — this cry echoes through the halls and in the chapel services of Christ the King Lutheran School as the theme for the 2015-16 school year. As an avid runner, athletic director, […]

Deacon Jerry Stobaugh, Holy Spirit Lutheran Church

Holy Spirit is a Deacon lead congregation in Fayette County, Tennessee. It is the only Lutheran Church in the county. The Trail of Lost Soles – Part 2

St Paul Lutheran Church, Wartburg, Tenn., established in 1846, raised […]

At the 19th Regular Convention of the Mid-South District, Rev. Norman Groteluschen, President Emeritus, shared a brief address with the delegation. Ordinary People for Extraordinary Work

I read a story about a father who always took naps on Sunday afternoons. One particular Sunday, his children wanted him to go outside to play in the backyard with them. Instead of consenting, and after a Sunday dinner, his eyes got heavy. He slumped into his easy chair and fell asleep. The kids tried […]
